ADMISSION SELECTION COMMITTEE
The committee comprises the Principal / Dean PMC and all heads of departments as its members. Committee has the discretion to refuse admission to any candidate who seems unsuitable. The decision of the admission selection committee shall be final and cannot be challenged on any forum, including the court of law.

0.67 marks/paara (total twenty marks) will be added to the F.Sc marks on the recommendation of admission committee for Hefiz-e-Quran candidates.
Ten marks shall be deducted for every extra attempt availed in the F.Sc.(Pre-Medical) examinations beyond the period of two years, after passing the SSC annual examination. The attempt certificate issued by the respective BISE shall be accepted as final proof of attempts.
According to the adjusted marks, whenever two candidates are bracketed, the one senior in age will be given preference over the other. Age record in the SSC Certificate will be accepted as final.
In case of candidates of the same age, the one with higher marks in SSC examination will be given preference.
If any of the submitted certificates are found false or forged, at any stage during the course of study, legal action will be taken against student and admission will be cancelled.
It is absolutely essential to submit originals of all the above documents at the time of Interview. Original documents of the selected candidates will be returned after the completion of the course of studies.
If any of the documents mentioned in the check list are not attached with the original application form as received by the college admission, the application shall be rejected.
Interviews
On the basis of the Entrance Test scores, HSSC/Equivalent and SSC/Equivalent results, a top group on the rank list will be short-listed for further assessment. Interview appointments will be sent to the shot-listed candidates.
Each short-listed applicant will meet with aboard of interviewers. The purpose of the interview is to have interaction with a living person rather than an applicant and avail the opportunity for assessing those personal attributes which are so essential in a caring and understanding physician.
(Applicants are cautioned that interviews, although held towards the tail end of the admission process, are important component of the whole process and contributes to the cumulative merit.)
Final Selection
Relative weightage for all the components of the admission process (academic achievements in matriculation, intermediate or its equivalents/ degree examination, Entrance Test or its alternates, interviews and other accomplishments) is added up, to arrive at the final merit list.
The top 80 applicants on the final merit list will be invited to join the first year MBBS class. No formal waiting list will be announced, but all the remaining applicants stay on the waiting list. Any dropouts from the class will be replaced from the waiting list, on merit.
Applicants will be informed of the selection individually as soon as the final list is drawn.
Confirmation of Admission
Selected students will be required to confirm their intent to join the college by depositing the admission fee, tuition fee and other prescribed fees as soon as possible after the announcement of the selection, but not later than the date mentioned in the admission notice. If a seat is not confirmed by this date, it will be offered to the next person on the waiting list. No further claim of admission by the incumbent applicant will be admissible. |
