Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arif did his MBBS from Khyber Medical College. He did his FRCS in 1975 from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh UK. He did his DRCOG in1976 from Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, UK. He is also a Fellow of American College of Surgeons USA.

He started his professional career as Senior Registrar General Surgery in Postgraduate Medical Institute, Govt; Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar in 1977 and retired as Professor and Head Department of Surgery PGMI. An approved supervisor for FCPS-II trainees in G. Surgery.

12 Research Papers to his credit published in various National Medical Journals.
Currently he is serving Peshawar Medical College as Professor & Head Department of Surgery.
