Prof. Dr. Faiz Muhammad Khan did his graduation from KMC Peshawar in 1976. He did his FRCS from Royal College of Surgeons Ireland in 1985. He has experience of 30 years in General Surgery spread locally as well as internationally.  He started his professional career in 1977 as Resident Medical Officer in Dr. Mssadique Hospital, Iran. He remained Registrar General Surgery, in Republic of Ireland. In 1989, he was appointed as Senior Registrar General Surgery in Khyber Teaching Hospital, Peshawar and got his retirement as Associate Professor in 2002.

Has six publications to his credit published in different national journals.

Currently serving Peshawar Medical College as Professor of Surgery.
