He did his graduation in 1982 from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar and did his FCPS in Ophthalmology from College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan in 1996.

He served as Senior Medical Officer Hayat Shaheed Teaching Hospital Peshawar from 1996 to 1998. He rendered his services as Assistant Professor & Incharge Eye Department, Kabir Medical College, Peshawar from 1998 to 2000. He worked as Classified Eye Specialist and Incharge Eye Unit in Fauji Foundation Hospital, Peshawar.

Currently working as Assistant Professor Ophthalmology in Peshawar Medical College, Peshawar.
