Prof. Dr. Syed Iftikhar Ali Shah graduated from KMC Peshawar in 1978. He did his MCPS from College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan in 1983. He then did his MRCP from Royal College of Physicians UK in 1993 having full registration with General Medical Council with UK.

He started his professional career as Lecturer Pathology. Worked as Senior Registrar in G. Medicine in Khyber Medical College and got retirement in 2002 as Associate Professor Medicine, Khyber Medical College.

Presently Prof. Dr. Syed Iftikhar Ali Shah is working as Professor of Medicine in Peshawar Medical College.

He attended different Courses, Conferences and Seminars on National and International level.

7 research papers to his credit have already been published in different medical journals. In addition to this, Abstracts have been accepted in International conferences.
