A graduate of KMC. Got his M.Phil from Sheikh Zayed Federal (P.G.M.I) Lahore. He started his teaching career as Lecturer in the Anatomy department of Ayub Medical College in 1990. After attaining his post graduation, he served the same institution in the capacity of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. He also served Women Medical College Abbotabad as Associate Professor.

Seven Publications to his credit published in different medical journals enlisted in Index Medicine.
