Prof. Dr. Lala Rukh has done her MBBS from Punjab University. She did her DGO from Punjab University in 1963. She then did MRCOG from Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecologist London in 1960. She did her FRCOG from Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecologist UK in 1983. Also got certificate in Family Planning (UK) in 1970. She also got training on Lactatic Management from USA IN 1991.

She started her professional career in 1961 as Medical Officer and worked different hospitals Nationally and Internationally in different capacities. After rendering 34 years of service, she retired as Professor of Obs & Gynae, Khyber Medical College.
17 research paper to her credit published in different medical journals.

Currently working in Peshawar Medical College as Consultant Gynaecologist.
