Dr. Obaidullah is graduated from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar in 1983. He did his FCPS from College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan and FRCS from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 1989 and 1990 respectively.

Micro specializing the Plastic Surgery field, after post graduation, he got three years training in Plastic Surgery & Burns.

In 1992 he was appointed as Senior Registrar Plastic Surgery Unit, Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar and got retired from service as Associate Professor Plastic Surgery Unit, HMC Peshawar.

Dr. Obaid was an approved supervisor of CPSP for FCPS-II trainees leading to FCPS in Plastic Surgery. He is also the Chief Facilitator of Department of Medical Education in CPSP.

He has the membership of International Society for care of Burn Injuries, Smile Train (an international organization caring for cleft lip and palate patients in developing counties), International Society for Hypospadias and Intersex Disorders, Infection Control Society of Pakistan, Society for Rational use of drugs, Hypospadias-Epispadias Association.

He has attended National and International conferences either as faculty member or as a guest speaker.

He has the awards of HEC Best Research Paper 2006 and HEC Best Innovator Awards 2006-07 to his name. 23 papers to his credit published in National and International Medical Journals.

In addition to his clinical attachment, he is serving Peshawar Medical College as Director, Department of Medical Education as well.
