Configuration steps for accessing/uploading Online Medical Resources at PMC website

Windows XP

1. Double click ‘My Network Places’
2. Click ‘Add a Network Place’
3. Select ‘Choose another network location’
4. Click ‘Next’
5. Type ftp://ftp.prime.edu.pk in ‘Internet or Network Address’ box
6. Uncheck ‘Logon Anonymously’
7. Type the provided ‘User Name’
8. Click ‘Next’
9. Type ‘PMC Online Medical Resources’ in network name box
10. Click ‘Next’
11. Click ‘Finish’

The above configuration steps are required only one time, subsequently the site can be access using the following steps

1. Double click ‘My Network Places’
2. Double click ‘PMC Online Medical Resources’
3. Enter ‘User Name’ and ‘Password’
4. Click ‘Logon’

 

Windows Vista

1. Double click on ‘My Computer’
2. Right click in some free space and select ‘Add a Network Location’
3. Select ‘Choose another network location’
4. Click ‘Next’
5. Type ftp://ftp.prime.edu.pk in ‘Internet or Network Address’ box
6. Uncheck ‘Logon Anonymously’
7. Type the provided ‘User Name’
8. Click ‘Next’
9. Type ‘PMC Online Medical Resources’ in network name box
10. Click ‘Next’
11. Click ‘Finish’
