Job requirement / qualification and description:

 

A.        Epidemiologist

 

1. Qualification:          M Phil / PhD in epidemiology. MPH / M.Sc. in public health from a PMDC recognized institute / department shall be given preference. Experience in medical proposal writing and working experience with medical institutions / teaching experience with MBBS degree will be additional credit.

 

2. Experience:            Practical experience of designing formulating, supervising, and monitoring of research studies conducted in collaboration with national and international funding agencies. Writing and communication skills and well versed with use of statistical computer packages like SPSS, Epi-info, Statepack etc.

 

3. Salary:                    Commensurate with qualification and experience.

 

B.        Biostatistician:          

 

1. Qualification:          M.Sc. in Statistics, in 1^st Division from any recognized

                                    public sector University

                                    Or

                                    M.Phil. from a recognized university in Biostatistics

 

2. Experience:            Minimum of five years experience in applied Statistics.

Interpretation and graphic presentation of health related research projects for national and international (public / private) organization. Writing and communication skills and well versed with use of statistical computer packages like SPSS, Epi-info? Statepack etc. Teachig experience will be given preference.

 

3. Salary:                    Commensurate with qualification and experience.
