Message of the Vice Chancellor, Riphah International University

I am glad to learn that Peshawar Medical College is producing its revised prospectus for 2008. Continuous review and evaluation is the key to academic excellence.

Medical profession for me is more than a normal professional activity. It involves for a Muslim particularly serving Allah (SWT) through serving his servants who need to improve there quality of life. This can only be done when medical graduates and their teachers have a deep commitment to Islamic ethical norms and values and have appropriate know how and skills.

I hope Peshawar Medical College as one of our affiliates will present a model situation in which Islamic ethical values are fully integrated in their academic progress and in the personalities of their teachers and students.

I have my best prayers for the success of good work you are doing.

Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad
Vice Chancellor,
Riphah International University,
